What exactly can Remote Agent do?

Remote Agent can run much of a spacecraft's essential activities. There are three separate parts of Remote Agent that are responsible for different tasks and all three communicate with each other.

• The Planner/Scheduler (PS) can create plans of how to carry out the goals of the mission.
• The Smart Executive (EXEC) can execute, or carry out, these plans by commanding different parts of the spacecraft to do certain things at certain times.
• The Mode Identification and Recovery system (MIR) can monitor the health and status of the spacecraft and correct many of the problems or failures that might unexpectedly occur.

Remote Agent can do all these things autonomously (without human intervention).
