Mission

What will DS1 do on its mission?

Why is DS1's mission different from the original mission?

Everything in space is constantly moving. The original launch date put DS1 on a path past certain objects in space. The fact that the launch date was changed means that the objects that were to be visited by DS1 in space will no longer be in the same locations or be able to be visited by DS1. New targets were substituted.
