Weight: around 1 gram
Life span: 60 days
Reproduction: There are usually around 50,000 bees in each hive but only one queen. She lays between 400 and 1500 eggs per day.
WHAT IT EATS
Bees use nectar and pollen from some kinds of plants to make honey and other things for the hive to eat. In the process, bees act as pollinators for these plants. This lets them make fruit and seeds. Some kinds of plants require bees or other pollinators to survive and cannot reproduce or make fruit without them.
Each bee can visit 50-100 flowers per day.
