New Pops up the New Design dialog box for entering the initial information pertaining to the new design.
Open Design Opens an existing .dsn file, perhaps one that you had saved from a prior session. Note that CyclePad attempts to case convert all files in case they were from an earlier version. If case covnersion is barred because the file is read-only, CyclePad will prompt to unset the read-only flag and proceed with the case conversion.
Open Assignment
Problem Opens an assignment (.prb) file, perhaps one that your instructor assigned. Assignment files contain information about problems to be done in CyclePad.
Close Closes the current design
Close All Closes all open designs
Save Saves the current design as a .dsn file. .dsn files are ASCII files that record, in a CyclePad readable manner, information about the design, including the schematic layout and any assumptions that you may have made.
Save As... Pops up the Save dialog and enables you to change the name or location of the current design file.
Save All Saves all open designs.
Revert to Saved Re-load the current design as it was last saved, discarding changes since that save.
Save Bitmap of
design Save a bitmap image of the current design window to a file. The shape and size of the bitmap are chosen by the user.
Save separate
bitmaps of
layout & meters Save a separate bitmap of the design layout and each of the open meter windows to a directory. This is useful when there are many open meters and it is difficult to see all of them at once.
Case Convert File Case convert a saved design/problem/assignment file saved from an earlier version of CyclePad.
Export Cycle Data Exports cycle data in tab-delineated rows and columns, which most spreadsheets will import directly.
Export Comments Exports comments that you made on particular devices, stuffs, and parameters to a text file. You may find this helpful in writing up a report on your cycle.
Printer Setup... Check your current printer settings.
Print Prints the current cycle diagram, subject to the constraints of your printer.
Exit First confirms that you want to exit CyclePad, saves any unsaved designs.
